If Rahm quits his current job, who should Obama choose, for his chief of staff? I hope that he’ll pick Congressman Artur Davis, of Alabama. He’s been in Congress since 2003, so he was in Congress longer than Rahm. This year, Davis ran for governor and lost the primary. Davis is black, and many Blacks would approve of his appointment.
No Republican can be elected mayor of Chicago. I hope that one Republican runs, with a goal of 15%. He or she would try to increase his or her name recognition, for a race for Congress or the state legislature, in 2012.
Honestly, what do you care who Obama picks to replace Rahm? If anything, Obama should pick someone who is as bad or worse than R.E. for the job so that Republicans in congress can our buddy Obama’s life a living hell.
