Most people in California don’t pay any income tax. There are a few thousand Californians who pay most of the California state income tax. If/when a few of them move out of Califonia.......voila....there is a huge budget shortfall in revenues.
That is BS.
I paid 12K per year to CA when I worked there, and that was
10% of my adj gross.
