I believe that the main reason O’Donnell went on Hannity was for the opportunity to rationally address the swirling issues that had quickly become the talk of her campaign. It wasn’t that Hannity “harped” on these. I’m sure she and her campaign wanted the opportunity to address these on “her turf” , ie, in a non-hostile (and Hannity has known her for many years and is one of her most vocal national supporters) environment. These issues had become serious distractions from her campaign message and, left unattended, were sure to sink her. Her performance last night, by eloquently addressing each of the main issues, should go far to begin the process of pushing these distractions aside and allowing the race to begin to focus on the true issues - where she is much stronger than the bearded Marxist. Hannity was doing her a serious favor by providing her this friendly environment.

This time she beat their boy. And she is running against another of their [Republican’s] guys. The Country Club Republicans would prefer a Democrat to a Conservative Republican, for that matter, they would prefer the devil himself.

And got beat by over a 110,000 votes if I remember correctly. The opponent doesn't need to attack when one is getting demolished like she was. This race has taken on a different atmosphere, she appears to have traction and gaining support thus the attacks which will keep coming. She explained her answers well but don't look for the opponent to stop spouting the charges as that is what opponents do.

Her chore is to get enough Democrats and Others to come to her side. The following is the current voter registration as of 9-1-10:
