You failed to make a mark in the world, so you ride your bikes (which are hilariously overpriced)for the perception that you really are like the sociopathic “biker gangs” who get “respect” through their illegal activities and gang-violence. It’s compensating behavior.

I got my first motorcycle when I was 5. I'm pretty sure that my attraction had nothing to do with the fact that in my 5 years, I'd failed to make a mark on the world. Sorry, but I ride a bike because I love riding bikes, and I've loved riding bikes since I was old enough to remember.

The wimps are really on the bikes - the loudness of the bike represents the loudness of the tantrum they are throwing at the world for not thinking they are as wonderful as their mothers think they are.

Yeah, we're all wimps. We all know that tough guys drive mini-vans and complain about bikers on the internet. As for my mother, she's long dead, but my wife thinks I'm pretty wonderful.

I’m not complaining about loud bikes. I’m just making fun of the psychology of loud pipes.

I don’t really presume manliness is related to a mechanical conveyance - that really is the domain of biker psychology, and Harley Davidson has been manipulating that psychology to get those who think it’s related and selling them $20k motorcycles for years.

After all, how much is proving that that little episode in High School in the locker room didn’t really define you really worth? Yes, by all means drive the Harley if you wish.

Just having fun with you all Harley Drivers - because, for some reason - it is all too easy to do.
