Christine O'Donnell is not a lawyer. When she works "pro bono" she is working on behalf of a client who is not paying her anything for the service she renders, but it is nonetheless a service for which she would otherwise normally be compensated.
The shysters you work for do "pro bono" for some clients and make it all up by billing the hell out of others.
Somehow I think Christine is more accustomed to providing truly charitable services to others unable to pay her adequately for them, as opposed to lawyers who by their nature practice within a profession, which is not generally known for its charitable outreach.
Yes, I realize that.
And lawyers cannot just make up time to bill — deep, deep trouble. That’s not as easy as you think.
