Why ?
At least after this turn on the show, I don't want to hear any more complaints about loss of privacy or how "difficult" Bristol's life is. Most unwed teen mothers have to deal with consequences a bit more serious than photo spreads in People, TV shows, and apparently on-call child care while they pursue an entertainment career. The Dancing appearance, I think, blows any credibilty she had about being a serious advocate... though frankly I don't think she had any reason or business being a "public" figure anyway.
I was disappointed and thought Bristol being on the show was a tacky choice. After seeing her performance last night, I am disgusted. The whole parody of her mother was just in poor taste, and the song choice showed no class whatsoever. Is she planning to build an "entertainment" career on her mother? I guess next week she can dance to "Papa Don't Preach," or some equally dignified choice. Just seems to me that thumbing your nose at what your family is supposed to stand for is not much of a career.
