Thanks for the link. I think Chapin HS is not far from Bliss--in fact, may even be on property owned by the Army (but not on post). There is an elementary school on Cassidy not far from the Shopette (and the Burger King), and it is on the base. I think Chapin is the HS on the left as you drive north from downtown toward Bliss on Dyer--think a lot of kids from military families go there--but not sure.

Seems crazy that any kid would go on base to rob a shopette--if that's what happened--but, then again, it may be one of the only convenience stores in EP where there would be no guns! ARGGH

OK—now I’m confused—the date on the KFOX article is for today, but it seems the shooting of “Gerald” was a while ago—and FOX NEWS hasn’t given any recent info—guess their satellite link is down. Just hope no soldiers—or any of members of their families—got hurt.
