DREAM Act Senate phone listVote Scheduled for TOMORROW @2:15
Oh good grief...
another hassel with our RINO TN senators...
How convenient of the critters to decide on a vote at 5:00pm when we cannot get through to our senators. The vote is tomorrow?
Does this bill have to go to the House? or is it straight to the President?
bttt
I hope to the House. Whatever, we must call and call and call them. They are trying to force this Nightmare Act down our throats even though the majority is against it and it will harm this country.
ALTERNATE WAYS TO GET THROUGH
Leave messages on Senate answering machines.
Ask your state legslators to call the Sen’s home.
Faxes will usually get through.
Phone/email your local print and broadcast media editors and bureau chiefs NOW——the BIG story is that Americans are against this.
Wheres the media on this? Oh nevermind.....
The media is trying to disract us with other stories, blowing up nonissues out of proportion.

Let's not forget this ONE:
McCain Considering Support for the Democrats' DREAM Act
I called Casey’s office and asked him not to vote for it because it’s just another law they’re trying to slide in under the wire. As usual, no public debate, no real information to American voters just push, push, push!
Amnesty is too important an issue to sidestep the voters on.
apocalypto is so exactly right
“We all have to phone and keep on phoning. It has made a difference and it can make a difference again.”
Start again in the morning.
TIP, use *67 so your number won’t appear in caller ID if you call directly
PLUS if you are calling a senator NOT your own have a zip code from their state handy
but CALL early and Often
Texas Sen kay Bailey Hutchison after earlier being nto sure has announces she will vote against it
Hooray for Kay
Additional info on the The Defense Authorization Act (which includes DREAM Act and repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell)
Per freeper Thunder90:
“It cuts lots of programs designed to defend America, including Missile Defense, some F-35 funding, and there is some BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure) stuff in it as well. Finally, it decreases the size of the US Navy.”
More here- I believe this is still current:
http://www.militaryspot.com/news/item/national_defense_authorization_act_for_fiscal_year_2011/
It also includes a controversial provision permitting abortions at military facilities, and cuts to the Iraqi Security Forces (and there will be no chance to debate these or any other defense-related issues.)
Let people know this as well, if they don’t already...
It will also include abortions (on our dime) at military establishes - at home & abroad. It also will include the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.
Scott Brown rules!
I can’t believe the flack he takes here for a few votes with the Democrats. Coakley would have been a sure vote for amnesty.
I had already written down Scott Brown’s numbers in order to call him tomorrow...I think I still will, to thank him for his ‘no’ vote. Perhaps if he gets some encouragement when he does the right thing, it will help guide him in the future!
“..I think I still will, to thank him for his no vote. Perhaps if he gets some encouragement when he does the right thing, it will help guide him in the future!”
Good idea.
Thank God for Free Republic. I called everyone I know and none of them even heard of the bill.
