Pretty much everyone who lived through Jimmy's one and mercifully, only term as President from 1977-81 agrees that it was an economic, foreign policy and military disaster. And so, when he finally passes on and is interred in the red clay soil of Plains, Georgia; I might well be tempted in the dead of night to pour a beer or two upon his grave, after first having filtered it through my kidneys.
