How could you have new medical technology AND return to 1990 consumption levels to save the planet?

I don't think we even had (many) MRIs in 1990.

It wouldn't be surprising to be refused treatment because of too much energy consumption.

The rats world of nationalized health care provides street taxes to trial lawyers and labor cartels. What a mess health care will be when the rat plan becomes fully in place.
