Public in-decency is a two way street. Two heterosexuals going at it in public should be thrown in the clink to cool off.

Both the straight and gay couple would be tossed in jail for having sex in a public street.
And both the straight and gay couple can have sex in the privacy of their own bedroom without the threat of being tossed into jail.
