1. A prediction is not a lie.

2. She did not get a college degree until 16 days ago. It was not held up solely because of delinquent fees - she had to take coursework this past summer in order to fulfill the degree requirement. Anyone who said she never finished her college degree was right until just a couple of weeks ago.

3. No one said she never had a job. They have pointed out that she has a very spotty job history and no identifiable job for the past 7 years. She says there were "gender discrimination issues." in reality she was fired for cause.

4. She received a foreclosure notice. That is certainly not a lie. It was her decision to spend her money on a frivolous lawsuit rather than her mortgage. Blaming ISI for her irresponsible delinquency on her mortgage is pathetic.

5. She claims the IRS case was a mistake and a computer error. But she was audited by the IRS. That is no lie.

6. no one said that she is a witch. They said, quoting her own words, that she dabbled in witchcraft. That also is no lie.

You claim that people are telling lies about her, but in reality they're citing facts without also reciting her lame excuses for these facts.

The reality is that she left college without finishing her coursework and did not finish the work until last month, she does have very little credible work history (SALT? Really?) and has been effectively unemployed for the better part of a decade, she was fired from her last real job for cause, she did file a frivolous lawsuit that she eventually dropped, she did get a foreclosure notice from her bank and that was her own fault for not paying her mortgage, she was audited by the IRS and she did say (and no one really cares) that she dabbled in witchcraft. All of this is quite true.

I will give you on the prediction point. At this stage, it is all prediction. However, if I were a betting man, I would bet on her win; not her loss just basing it on the numbers. If Christine O’Donnell is able to get through the mine field (some due to her own human failings), and convince Delaware that she would be best for Delaware and the country, she wins.

On the college degree problem. Sometimes colleges will come up with more requirements to fulfill a degree since 1993. I wonder if this did not happen to cause her to take more coursework?

Why did she fail to pay the $4,823? There is more to the story than the $4,823. The fact is she paid for her entire college bill. There was little help from her parents. In 1993 she had $4,823 left to pay. I am sure she took out a loan that took 10 years to pay off. As one of six children, O’Donnell explains, “Americans are struggling and I understand those struggles. I’ve also faced difficult times, but in the end, I persevered.”

She received a foreclosure notice. This is according to Christine O’Donnell: “Contrary to what others are saying, I was lucky to survive this economic turmoil and my home was not foreclosed upon. My home was privately sold in 2008 through a realtor and private mortgage company, not a public foreclosure.” She chalks up the “mortgage mess to a technical error by the bank.”

So what if she dabbled in witchcraft? The lie is that such dabblings make her mentally unstable now.

As for the gender discrimination case, there is nothing that has proven that her claims in the case are not true. She was fired two days after she brought the claim and it was not because she had a conflict of interest problem. It was because she brought the charges against ISI. She dropped the case because she couldn’t afford the lawyer costs. Now what normal person couldn’t relate the that? It is not a lame excuse.

No one is saying that she was not audited by the IRS. Yes, she was audited. But here is how Christine O’Donnell explains it:

“The IRS says the erroneous tax bill was a “computer error.” During my previous campaign against then Sen. Joe Biden, I was audited by the IRS. After a long appeals process; the issue was supposed to have been wrapped up this past spring. Yet, in March, rather than a letter finalizing the appeals process, I received an erroneous tax lien claiming I had not responded to their previous correspondence. The IRS admitted the letter was a mistake, issued a Certificate of Release of Federal Tax Lien on May 19, 2010 and chalked it up to a “computer error.””

I think Christine O’Donnell has answered to all the lies and distortions. We need to move on and support her.
