Fresh off her victory in Delaware, GOP U.S. Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell is riding a wave of campaign cash but also internet infamy, thanks in part to her controversial statements -- most notably on masturbation -- in the late 1990s on Bill Maher's "Politically Incorrect." Christine O'Donnell says one of her first dates occurred on a satanic altar.
On Friday, Maher released on his new HBO show, "Real Time," an unaired clip of O'Donnell admitting to a brief dalliance with witchcraft.

You seem pretty determined to tear her down.
Just saying.
Why?
She didn’t say this recently. This is a clip from one of her many, many talking head panel appearances on cable over the years. This clip might be over a decade old.
Come on.
Powerline may not be a wonderful conservative source of material but how is name calling and deflecting from the issue of her character to the other’s character any different then what Castle or Coons are doing with this story.
People need to accept she is not that great of a candidate and she does have skeletons we wouldn’t ordiarily accept. I’m not saying Coons is better or we shouldn’t support her or that those on the right fixated with debating this after the primary is oer are right, but I would suggest instead of rushing to her defense over these stories that really can’t be defended...they be ignored and flip the cart to focus on Coons intentions, the economy and stuff like that. It’s the only shot she has at winning.
I also heard that she had a Ouija board, brought to a party one of those billiard balls that told you which course in life to take, and that she acted in the chorus of The Crucible about the Salem Witch Trials, demanding that the court accept spectral evidence of conjurin’. None of us “normal” people did anything like this, of course, we were just like the Lincolns (seances), Nancy Reagan (horoscopes to pick teh exact minute of Inauguration), Winston Churchill and FDR (use of clairvoyants as to when to begin D-Day), the CIA (experiments with remote viewing) and of all people, Bill Clinton, who told the Air Force to check on the veracity of the purported alien storage shed at Wright-Patterson.

What is worse (1) some one who is curious about the occult in their early informative years or (2) some one who hides the fact that they avidly practice deceit and deception on a DAILY basis to fool others to do their bidding.
....and what was St. Paul doing before he got knocked off his horse?
Who has not played with a “Weeja” board at the age of 11?
no, she’s normal. Everyone have dabbled in strange thing in their younger days. It doesn’t mean anything. What they’re trying to imply? She she a witch now? She’s not one, so its no big deal. Anyone you know once dabbled with tarrot cards and astrology?
Idiot, these are 15 year old clips.
Agreed. Going forward, the movement ought to think long and hard about a simple litmus test for candidates such as, "Has this person ever held a real job?"
Let's pray that she doesn't become an a albatross around our necks.
She doesn't need my help or anyone else's in that regard. She's imploding, all by herself.
Read the article. He’s releasing clips from the 1990s until she agrees to be on his show.
And more than a few on this site.
“You don’t dig out of a 12-point (at best) deficit by practicing the black arts.”
Obviously you have never watched Bewitched. Samantha got Darren out of many tougher situations with just a twitch of the nose.
Never did...
Oh, please...every damn Democrat in this country ‘dabbles in witchcraft’ by supporting the “pro-choice platform” of their party...
"We went to a movie and then had a midnight picnic on a satanic altar." Christine O'Donnell
O RLY? Yes, sounds like typical puppy love to me.
Yes I know they’re old...I was just wishing she’d kept her mouth shut way back when...
Oh well, too late now.
