Do you have any idea how long you were without PO water,
that means water intake by mouth. (I assume you had an
IV at some point) I’ve had reports from people who came
out of sepsis that they were at times aware, including
aware of being hungry. (They were in no danger of dehydration)
I was in and out. I know they hooked an IV up at some point but the overwhelming need to drink water was excruciating. I went into the ER about 1am and I know I drank water around 9 or 10 am. I can not imagine being deprived of all hydration.
