I actually went to a hamburger joint in Santa Cruz that was like that. Place seemed to be staffed exclusively by lesbians with PMS. A Hamburger and fries cost about $15. I later heard it referred to as the “attitude tax.” I’m not sure whether the term applies to the attitude, the price, or the combination of the two.
It kind of seemed like the people who worked in the place didn’t like hamburgers, didn’t like meat itself, and didn’t like the people who came in to buy hamburgers.
