Sorry, FRiend, the father was completely wrong in the way he handled this. He should have gone to the schoool board. He deserved to be arrested.
With the youngest on the verge of 17, I guess I can say that I've raised 4 children to adulthood. In those 30 years or so, I never once had to threaten someone's child with bodily harm, or threaten a parent with harm over their children. Outside of making my intentions to defend myself known, I've never made a threat to anyone in my adult life. When you justify threats to INITIATE violence, you've crossed the line into thug life.
