I’ve looked all over the net and I can’t seem to find any video of the Pope burning a Koran.

What gives?

Has Obama apologized for the U.S.’s part in making these Muslims mad, yet?

Mohammedans really are turning into a joke. The best analogy i ever head was that they are exactly like the Martians in “Mars Attacks”. They go to incredible lengths to deceive us,, they violate every peace overture in a manner so blatant that it’s almost funny, and their treachery knows no ends.
And as in the movie, they are appeased by the US government even as they are being murdered by them.

Does this mean that I finally get a free pass to froth like a demonically possessed lunatic and burn, rape and pillage? Oh wait, my religion is not satanic... only TROPers get to do that.

God damned filthy murderous political system is what Islam is. Nothing like a religion, other than it being satanic of course. Absolute filth.

Where is the outrage from the radical feminists about how women are treated in the muslim world?

"If the Telegraph was in the US, it would EASILY be the best US newspaper. It almost always plays it down the middle.

Yup. I don't like some of the stories they come up with, but they DO NOT have the herd mentality laziness that dominates American journalism. They are diggers at the Telegraph, and they will dig pretty much anywhere. Unlike American reporters, they don't seem obsessed with whether or not their leftist colleagues are likely to nominate them for the Pulitzer.

Yes, that is EXACTLY it. I wish I had put it that way. Sure, they write some pretty negative stories about the right, but they do the same for the left, which is really the only thing you could ask.

6th guy arrested according to Fox (if I heard it right)

I like your cue/search word anticatholic, it is what it is.

Prayers up for intentions of Protection for Pope Benedict and all those in proximity for his journey.

The “successful” crusades were led by Christian kings.

I have no trouble seeing rank-n-file Crusaders showing up ... I just don’t see much in the way of leadership.

I saw a similar blurb on the scrolling text of an online video feed. I just checked the source URL, but the Telegraph has not updated their article, yet.

...Meanwhile, American school kids are compelled to pray at a mosque and a justice of the SCOTUS toys with making Koran-burning a crime.

Where the hell is the STOP button? I want to get off!

Who needs leaders and followers? A modern-day crusade could be accomplished by one flight of Tridents from a single boomer sub.

Turn the keys, light the fires, no more muzzies.

Just sayin'.

I can't take credit for that one. Another FReeper added that keyword.

Yeah, no chance of that, obviously. But the option will remain after he is gone. Ant the British, French and Sovie-er, Russians have thier own boomers and their own axes to grind with the Religion of Pieces. Who knows what the future holds?

The BBC Version of this story doesn't mention any religion, though it does mention Algerian origins.

I sampled stories from MSNBC, MSNBCTV, CBS, ABC, and CNN.

None mentioned any Islamic or Muslim identity of the men arrested, nor showed any evidence that the staffers who wrote the stories were curious and pushed to find out.

Most mentioned a police account that they might be Algerian, and a street sweeper's account that they are north African.

If the Algerian / North African line is used, it is not used until after several paragraphs about street cleaners and other information.

The stories are all headlined regarding the arrests of the men for possible terrorism, yet the stories tend to be padded with background information on clergy abuse, rifts in the church, and many other paragraphs of content having nothing to do with the men who were arrested.

The CBS and ABC stories have identical paragraphs. See paragraphs 8/9 and 7/8.

See my post on this elsewhere here on FR.
