Another amazing thing is that county auditor Frank Russo is working a plea bargain for over 21 years in prison. He would be 82 when he gets out. Some bargain. And, his son has to plead guilty, as well. What a bunch of ignorant slimeballs.
Story here: http://www.cleveland.com/countyincrisis/index.ssf/2010/09/former_auditor_frank_russo_adm.html
Makes sense for him, in a way:
Frank Russo -- once the gregarious front man of the local Democratic Party -- solemnly agreed Thursday to what amounts to a life sentence in prison in exchange for concessions that protect his family from further prosecution and allow him to stay free long enough to witness the birth of three grandchildren.
Doubtful he would get much better outcome fighting it. And for prosecution it's a way to score a win, close his case and use him / his testimony as a proof in other cases.
