This will give you encouragement that they're getting the message.
On FoxNews tonight, Greta Van Susteren interviewed John McCain.

The best part, talking about the tea parties and Americans waking up, even to the Republicans, at about 1:20, McCain catches himself:

Greta:  It feels like a very different time, though, doesn't it?

McCain:   Oh, it's terrib -- it's more different than anything that I've ever seen.
TOPICS: Constitution/Conservatism; Extended News

I caught that too and posted it in another thread about Greta’s show tonight (regarding DeMint’s appearance.)

What a disingenuous ass McCain is.
You know what kind of stuff he’s saying when the mic and the camera aren’t turned on. It couldn’t be more obvious.

Oh, it's teribable, but I screwed up and didn't see it coming. I could be president today if I would have adopted this stuff.

LOL. He tries to deflect by talking about pork and the tough economic times -- like he is not an object of the disgust shown by voters. I only made it to the 3 minute mark -- I despise that man.

HAHAHA!!!! Oopsie! He would have been better off continuing. "Oh, its terrible . . . the problems average Americans are facing are just terrible, . They are off of their game. The world is turned upside down, as Cornwallis said when he surrendered his army to George Washington. :-)

He is taking much longer to show his liberal side than I thought. I figured the following day after the primary, he would show his true colors. The colors are starting to slowly show again now though.....he is fighting it though...lol. For how long though?

Missed the original, but am waiting for the replay at 12:00.

Yes, this has proven to be a very revealing time. We are finding out who the true conservatives are. Did anyone catch Newt tonight on Hannity? You should have heard Newt making excuses for Castle not calling McDonnell. It's like they all are part of the "club" and protect each other.
Rove just keeps railing on about McDonnell. He has his mantra down. "Where does she get her money. What about her degree, student loans, etc.". He's helping the other side!!

I think McCain is a RINO jerk. Sill, I think it’s perfectly plausible that the “terrible” he almost referred to was the state of the nation, the economy, or the idiots in charge of it. He may have caught himself mid sentence because he anticipated the way his words might be misunderstood. Or maybe not.

Yep, you posted to me about it.
LOL. He barely caught himself in mid-sentence.
Okay, I watch *that* part and I’m trying to watch the whole thing, but only because he talked nicely about Sarah.

Maybe in my biased mind I’m reading things in, but what I see in McCain’s whole demeanor in this clip is an incredible arrogance concerning the fact that he has survived 2010 politically.
One more huge check mark against Palin in my book.

What’s a two-faced lying politician to do when people stop believing his bullshit? He can’t run as one thing and vote as another ... It must be terrible and unlike anything McCain has ever seen ...

McCain is such a transparent pandering old fool who has begrudgingly hitched his wagon to Palin in order to survive.
