Which does beg an interesting question:

“If DADT is repealed, can Christians, or the Religious, in good conscience recommend to their adolescent children that they join the US Military”?

I honestly do not know, what I do believe is that once an Institution abandons it’s Moral Compass, it is doomed to defeat.

Considering the state of the country and the nature of more than half of it’s citizenry, how could a Christian recommend to their child to join the miitary now? All the parts worth defending are either dead or on life support. The Constitution is being used as toilet paper in the Capitol and WH. Far too many of the people are lazy, greedy, and selfish. We’ve enslaved ourselves to foreign interests. We let foreigners illegally enter the country to take jobs and break the taxpayers’ backs through welfare. We manufacture nothing, and most consider blue collar jobs to be beneath their dignity. Our so-called leaders are communists, and even the so-called “conservative” leaders are mostly socialist. Our President is either muslim, or an atheist muslim sympathizer.

There’s just nothing left to defend.

And here I sit writing a letter of recommendation for my nephew who is applying to West Point.
