NewsBusters sister site CNSNews.com recently caught up with Obama's science czar John Holdren. When questioned about his comments on de-developing the United States Holdren had this to say:

Well maybe he has a point, we should completely de-develope some parts of the US. Namely the spots on the electoral map that show up as deep blue, civilization has clearly lost the fight in those area's.
