A longtime Washington D.C. insider, and former advisor to the Obama election campaign and transition team, speaks out on an administration in crisis, and a president increasingly withdrawn from the job of President.
2008 gave America an incredibly charismatic candidate for President of the United States. Speech after speech showed a candidate with increasing momentum as primary race after primary race concluded. And then came the nomination, more speeches, culminating in an election night victory.
According to the person sitting across from me, those were incredibly exciting times, even for one who had been a participant with three previous presidential hopefuls. Barack Obama appeared to move from one city to the next effortlessly, gaining confidence and motivation with each campaign stop. He was remarkable to watch. He took the script, elevated it with his oration, left the crowds screaming for more, and then would do it all over again, time after time after time. On the campaign trail, Obama is a machine.

I think beck is right. Obama is nothing more than vince The slapchop guy. He is a puppet and little else.
You nailed the whole Obama psychological pathology. I just wonder how long the powers in DC are going to allow this man,his administration and his marxist czars to destroy the greatest country ever created? I don’t think even Hillary and Bill really want that to happen. As bad as they are politically...I don’t think they hate and despise our country.
Frightening.
Haven't read thru all the responses ... so someone may have touched on this already. Bottom line ... yes, everything has been handed to him. He really didn't have to work ... thus the conspiracy to hide his academic records. His second book was written by Ayers, he was struggling with it, Michelle called Ayers to ask for help and Ayers stepped in. This president is a fraud ... a complete fraud aided and abetted by the liberal media.
It’s adding up.

I would say the one time during our stay here in the White House so far that has. . . . He paused so long in choosing his words that Michelle Obama, sitting alongside him, prompted him. Has what?
Annoyed me, the president answered.
Dont say it! the first lady mock-warned. Uh-oh.
Was when I took Michelle to New York and people made it into a political issue, he continued, recalling the evening last spring when they flew to New York for dinner and a show, eliciting Republican gibes for spending federal money on their own entertainment.

DC Scuttlebutt: Obama a Chainsmoking, Nervous Wreck
DBKP ^ | September 6, 2010 | Mondoreb
EXCERPT
We know its gossip and hearsay, but this was passed onto us via email.
re: Obama is a nervous wreck, chain-smoking incessantly, fretful and broken.
Spoke with a friend of mine in DC who is in very well-connected politically on the Dem side and I asked him about the mood in DC.
He advised me Obama is a shell of a man, second guessing himself non-stop, reeking of cigarettes and consumed with the color of his rapidly-graying hair.
Our informer goes on to say that they realize its second party hearsay but that it is consistent with other reports Ive heard.
2nd that.
They both have been mooching off of us for a long time and still are but now they have to be accountable for all the mooching they do and they don’t like it.
That’s some article. Thanks for posting. Even his own folks are saying he’s not good for the country.
“It would explain why Michelle went to Marbella w/o Barry.”
Of course, and not just that she went without him. She chose to go on his birthday, on a trip she was advised would cause problems. But she didn’t care. She was surely getting even for something. (And there are so many things she could be getting even for.) If you pay attention over the long term, it’s pretty obvious she doesn’t like him - remember the stinky comment way back during the campaign? That’s just not the way you talk about someone you care about. I still think the most telling are the photos from the day she returned from New Orleans - they were supposed to be “greeting” each other, but did you ever see such stiff photos, people who were trying so hard not to even touch each other. Very very cold. And I don’t think anyone would want to be the wrong side of her.
Doubtful he alone can decide to launch.
Would be nifty to see him flip-out in a total melt-down sitting around staring at the floor and drooling, in the whitey-hut, while moochselle stuffs down another 100 pounds of kobe beef and lobster.
PERFECT!!!!
From Dehydrated Water ... Obama Stimulus Plans, the guy can sell.
Next up “Buyers Remorse” bet somewhere in the pitch there is a “But Wait There is MORE!”
Now I know why folks fainted at Obama Rallies
TT
I about choked on my beer! Hehehe
I've never heard of such a thing. I'm no prize when I wake up, but when my kids were little that never stopped them from bouncing into bed if they got a chance. And people thought things were frosty between Hill and Bill. :-))
So I guess he musta been really PO'ed when Moocher Michele got lacerated for going on a lavish vacation in Spain.......then immediately went on a family vacation to Martha's Vineyard.
They don't look too happy on vacation in Martha's
Vineyard...even with all that lobster and ice cream.
Could be. His people would probably say the "community organizer" stint counts as administrative experience, but it looks like pretty light work.
One thing that stands out is how many presidents got their leadership experience in wartime. Kennedy never held an administrative post in civilian life, so far as I can tell, but he did command a boat in WWII. You could say something similar for Nixon, who had only short experience in the bureaucracy, but presumably did have experience giving orders during the war.
The habit of senators running for president may go back to that WWII generation, but most of them did have wartime experience giving and taking orders, and that holds true for the presidents in the Civil War generation as well.
Other presidents picked up administrative experience by serving as leaders in Congress or at least by being vice president and sitting in on the decision-making process.
More here.
I have a feeling that this has already happened. The tidbit about his reactions to the “disappearing jobs problem” is a clue.
The trouble is that he may not be able to intellectually process the realization yet, and has to lash out emotionally at the “bearers of fact”.
He truly is a lost and floundering soul. We probably should be praying for his salvation. If I were a better Christian, I might be able to do so, sincerely. I pray for our country instead, and only ask for God’s will to be done to our pres..ent.
I had not thought of that before but I think you are absolutely right. It makes sense; she’s pissed at having to be accountable. I could not figure out why she always seems angry.
Oh, I did miss it!
Thank you so much, OB!!! Hugs and kisses to you, wherever you are.
