This is a myth based on supposition. Paternity has never been established, however the myth has been promoted heavily by the left.

This DNA study testing the Y chromosome found that there was a link to "some" Jefferson, but not necessarily Thomas, having been the father of Eston, Sally Heming's youngest son. These DNA tests indicated that any one of 8 Jeffersons could have been the father of Eston and there was nothing to indicate it was Thomas.

To 280 - At the time it could only have been speculation, of which Jefferson denied.
All later evidence points to his nephew, Peter Carr. Though even that is not conclusive.
The fact is, no one can offer positive proof as to whom Sally Hemmings's lover was.
