It’s a Blue State though. For the Repubs to have won it they would had to have the Democratic Republican be their candidate. even then, the guy would be an unreliable vote and would have been akin to adding another Snowe or Collins to the party.
There are no “blue” states and “red” states and “purple” states.
Bush and the Republicans were unpopular 2 years ago.
Bush to many Northeast / Midatlantic swing voters / moderates was an illiterate cowboy. That’s a style thing.
If the people are unhappy with Obama in a state like Delaware, Republicans can win.
People who are unhappy with Obama will vote for O’Donnell.
It won’t matter what her position on masturbation was 10 years ago, or what her position on masturbation is now.
Right now, based on the Obama numbers from Rasmussen, Christine needs to find between 5-10% who support Obama. They could be young women who like Christine’s style, and admire her like they admire Palin. They could be men who think she’s hot. It could be elderly Catholics who like Christine’s values. She could get votes on values but she won’t lose antiObama votes on values.
