Thats what one listener just called Karl Rove on the Sean Hannity show. The conservative base is in full-scale revolt. This is a good and healthy thing.
Close political observers of and on the Right know that the revolt against Big Government/Open-Borders Rove/Bush-ism has been brewing a long time. See here, here, here, and here, for example.
Mark Skousen sums it up well:
Rove covers the financial crisis of 2008 briefly in his book, only two pages, but blames the entire affair on the Democrats failure to support Bush initiatives to regulate Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. Barney Frank and Chris Dodd were the true villains. If only the Democrats had granted the Bush Administration the regulatory powers it sought, the crisis would have been minimized, according to Rove.
Funny, Rove conveniently fails to mention the role of Bush HUD Secretary Alphonso Jackson, who was accused of corruption and cronyism with Countrywide and other financial institutions. In 2004, Jackson worked hard to increase Fannies and Freddies affordable housing goals for minorities with subprime lending. And under his leadership, the FHA reduced its down payment requirements from 3.5% to zero in the midst of the financial crisis!
Sorry, Karl, but you cant blame the financial crisis on just the Democrats. There was plenty of blame on both sides of the aisle.

Very disapponted in Rove the other night. He embarrassed himself IMO.
The first I saw of Tokyo Rove was here at FR, its going to stick to him like flies on sheet.
Actually I listen to both Rush and Hannity back to back every day. And it was on Rush’s show that it came up first. Limabaugh was cracking up.
Doesn't get much better than that!
It will stick. I have always called him “The Arsonist” (yes, always) but Tokyo Rove will NOT be removed.
I’m not surprised.
Rove is an idiot.
He helped draft Bush’s falwed policies on illegal invaders.
Bush II’s close victories over Kerry and Gore - two REAL fools, should have been MUCH greater.
Rove is an overrated fool - and he proved it - ONCE AGAIN.
He continues to trash Christine O'Donnell. Obviously, he wants her to lose in November. For whatever reason, Rove has gone over to the dark side.
Andrew Cuomo and Fannie and Freddie
"..He took actions thatin combination with many other factorshelped plunge Fannie and Freddie into the subprime markets without putting in place the means to monitor their increasingly risky investments. He turned the Federal Housing Administration mortgage program into a sweetheart lender with sky-high loan ceilings and no money down, and he legalized what a federal judge has branded "kickbacks" to brokers that have fueled the sale of overpriced and unsupportable loans. Three to four million families are now facing foreclosure, and Cuomo is one of the reasons why..."
Excellent work by someone that pompous RINO needs hit with reality for the damage he has done.
Fat Boy
A falwed on you! /s

See now why your sort of sleazy slnderous whisper campaign tactics are so gutter slime politics now Rove?
These sorts of tactics can be used against you as easily as you use them.
Anyone using these sorts of gutter slime level political tactics, as Rove currently is, needs to be hounded out of politics.
Watched part of his interview on Greta last night; had to turn it off. All he did was once again attack the GOP nominee in an effort to damage her so he could claim he was right all along.
Rove is making himself the poster-boy for everything that is wrong with the GOP elite.
People should have remembered Tokyo Rove’s positive stance on illegal immigration. He and Bush also continued the housing debacle which precipitated this financial meltdown.
That’s what I’d like to see Paladino campaign on, rather than on Cuomo’s ‘immaturity’ and ‘arrogance’.
Rove is just another greedy bastard. He’s a paid political consultant with a major client list of Establishment GOP candidates who will be facing Tea Party challengers in the 2012 election.
Which candidates have more money to pay for Rove’s services, shoe string tea party or well funded, Establishment GOP?
Follow the money.
Paladino has touched on the issue. He should be pounding on it with a hammer.
All Rove really cares about is Rove and winning...........that is the problem with the establishment and why this year the public will impose term limits.
