I was wondering how Rush would handle the Rove appearance. Heck he jumped right into it first thing and did an excellent job of analyzing it and making Rove look bad. I was impressed.

For being “only” the day after a primary, Rush’s show thread was on fire...450 posts before the end of the show

Ridiculous. The reason we have a Republican establishment at all is because they know better than we do who should stand for office. I say shut up, sit down, and vote as you’re told to vote. And stop with all this girly tea-party nonsense. You’re allowing all those hot Republican women to distract you.

RUSH never backs down, he didn’t get where he is by being a yes man. BTW he is right, folks need to embrace the change that has been forced upon us.

Turns out apparently that Rove is not so much in the corner of the Republican Party as he is of the Progressives.

Christine O’Donnell is going to have more campaign money than she’s going to know what to do with.

People are going to donate just to see the Washington establishment’s head explode - hopefully in full HD...

An excellent cause...

“RUSH never backs down, he didn’t get where he is by being a yes man. “

He played waterboy for Rove and his boss for eight years. But he does get some credit for finally choosing principle over party. I’ll be curious to see if he sticks with it.

I do not believe he likes it. The out for Rove is letting folks know what the dem attack machine will key on. She has had a hard time and fast time. It is hard to come through that. She now has the money to understand the attack and respond. I am heartened by this.

You didn't listen to Rush at all during those 8 years, did you?

They never ask these questions about Democrats. Everybody I know that saw this were just perplexed, they couldn't figure it out. What's going on? Why is he so mad at a Republican? Where was this anger directed at a Democrat ever? And it continued. Hannity said, "I disagree, Karl. I don't see it this way."

Gee, Rush, maybe Rove expects a little more out of Republicans. Don't you?

Rove is saying that O'Donnell is a crappy candidate who can't win in November. And he's right!

And why would he be mad at a Democrat for being a bad political candidate?

“I do not believe he likes it.”

Who do you mean by “he”?

“The out for Rove is letting folks know what the dem attack machine will key on. She has had a hard time and fast time. It is hard to come through that. She now has the money to understand the attack and respond. “

Rove isn’t play acting. He is doing the Democrat’s dirty work because he bitterly resents O’Donnell defeating Castle. Rove is a selfish little pr*ck who can’t stand to see his in group lose power to insurgents.

If Castle is a democrat then run as a democrat. If it takes a democrat to win then so be it. No more Rino's.

I don’t have much to say to that argument. Rove shot his foot off, but he is not catching this turn-out at all.

“You didn’t listen to Rush at all during those 8 years, did you?”

I did. And evidently unlike you I actually understood what he was saying for those 8 years.

Considering that Rush said he had “carried water” for them in those exact words it wasn’t that hard a call. But maybe you know better than he does about what he meant.

Rove looked bad all on his own. I agree, Rush did a great job reporting and analyzing the previous day.

Quite right that Rush doesn’t back down but he is more diplomatic/tactful. It was surprising that he jumped right in to it first thing.
