Michelle Obama thinks being Americas First Lady is hell, Carla Bruni reveals today in a wildly indiscreet new book.
Miss Bruni reveals that Mrs Obama replied when asked about her position as the U.S. presidents wife: Dont ask! Its hell. I cant stand it!
Details of the private conversation, which took place at the White House during an official visit by Nicolas Sarkozy last March, emerged in Carla And The Ambitious, a book written in collaboration with Miss Bruni.

Most definitely.
I remember hearing that GW Bush talked to service members right before leaving Andrews Air Force Base for the last time, after Obama’s innauguration.
In that short speech, he told them good bye and that it had been a pleasure to SERVE WITH THEM. He saw his role as serving America, just as the servicemen at Andrews serve America.
I cannot imagine the Obamas seeing military staff, White House staff, members on the Hill, as public servants.
They are the elite class, and even if they don’t say it out loud, they look down upon the American public. They’re too busy enjoying the goodies, and transforming us into an African-neo-colonial state. He’s fulfilling his outline in “Dreams of My Father”. It’s written plainly to be seen.
But even then... how much time do you think Obama actually spends during a day doing presidential duties? He’s partying it up with people like Paul McCartney while his czars are doing the work that he’s too lazy to do.
You are mistaken. They are NOT divorced. They are together.
I agree, which makes me think there may be more to this story. Why would Sarkozy allow this to be published, unless he wants to undermine Obama's position in the world?
I have to agree.
Is not.
What makes you assume that?
My mistake. You’re correct. They we just rumors.
I suppose with Mrs. Bruni being the wife of a leader and Michelle’s position you would think there are some things they both could relate to. There are very few people who could relate to that kind of stress of being under the microscope.
While it could be considered indiscreet to broadcast personal conversations, it is obvious that Mrs. Bruni could care less about Mrs. Obama's reaction to her quoted comments. As far as I'm concerned, the sum total end-result, is a big "so what?" especially because Mrs. Obama doesn't deserve much in the way of respect.
That’s why one should never speak anything they don’t want others to repeat no matter the relationship.
If it’s true Michelle said it and was repeated my Carli it says more about their relationship—there is no respect there. She had to know that it could give ammo to those who hate this current administration.
Yep, and I fail to understand why that is a bad thing. :-)
