Reed said she received a phone call from a "community member" about the words "one nation under God" being omitted from the pledge.

Reed said she immediately called MCHS principal Gina Linder.

A “mishap”? What a steaming pile! It’s not like the pledge is so long one might forget a word or two. If they are that incompetent they should be fired.

The Tea party is going head to head with the board of education in this county. A tea Party member already took one board seat in a special election and the other six will fall in upcoming elections.

“Reed said she don’t know why”

I guess editors aren’t politically correct any more.

I had a teacher lead the class in the Lord’s prayer once by mistake. She had been teaching a while. I think the pledge was changed in the 50’s sometime before I was born. Eisenhower did is all I remember. If the person leading leading it was in their 80’s there is a slight chance of this being true.

“We fixed the glitch”

“So, you fired Milton?”

“No, we just stopped his paycheck. It’ll work itself out”.
