(Maricopa County, AZ) Sheriff Joe Arpaio reports that his deputies last night arrested another 23 illegal aliens in the act of being smuggled through Maricopa County. Last nights arrest brings the weeks total to 35 illegal aliens arrested while engaging in human smuggling.
The arrests were the result of two traffic stops in the north valley involving two separate vehicles. One vehicle contained 13 occupants and the other 12. During one of the traffic stops, two suspects fled on foot into the desert.
Sheriff Arpaio says, Even though the media hype surrounding SB 1070 has worn off for now, illegal aliens continue to sneak into the United States through Maricopa County and my deputies continue to pursue them as they have for the past three years.
The Sheriff will soon implement his plan to commission a volunteer armed posse force outfitted with appropriate hardware and gear to assist in the enforcement of illegal immigration and human smuggling laws.
Sheriff Arpaio has vowed to continue his enforcement of state and federal immigration laws despite recent political and media attention surrounding the issue. During the course of their duties, Maricopa County Sheriffs officers have been responsible for investigating, arresting and/or identifying over 40,000 illegal aliens.
It's about
STAMPEDE! I am sure he won’t be lacking for volunteers.
It's about
We need a Posse in all 57 states.
Trigger happy much?
Seriously though, its a good idea. Professional law enforcement just can't keep up with the sheer volume of illegals.
Your right on that.....so far I have found nothing not to like about this MAN. Does his duty as he was elected to do.....wish he were a bit younger...or at least training others to be the kind of sheriff he is..
God love him, I pray for this man every day. Simple common sense is so hard to come by these days. I hope he imparts his wisdom on many more people via the volunteer program and also hope that the community steps up to reward the brave guys and gals who do the work.
At what point does the Federal Government’s refusal to enforce our legitimate laws (NOT those “deemed” passed) become reckless endangerment? Cannot the U.S. Supreme Court issue a directive that the administration enforce the laws. It took only one judge to create the monstrous school busing requirement that eats up a huge chunk of the education budget. Will Scotus wait until we are totally f*cked??
And we’re going after the lawbreakers in the guv.
Sheriff Joe, we all just love and admire you out here!
YES!!!!!!!!
You really had to ask that question?
Just sayin'......you are putting to words stuff I don't like thinking about because it pisses me off so much.
Silence won't make it go away, will it.
Bad days are heading this way.
I love the third one...Call 911. Good luck with that.

I mean the 4th one.
I mean the 4th one.
