Recently, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Transportation (DOT) announced the latest Obama administration green initiative: Assign cars an A-D letter grade, to be noted on labels affixed to car windows at auto dealerships, based exclusively on the cars purported environmental-friendliness.

As long as Algore and his cult of Gaia worshippers are out there running around, I can’t understand why the hell we need to waste taxpayer dollars paying the morons employed at the EPA jobs program. The taxpayers really need to raise hell and demand that the EPA be abolished.

Agreed and don't forget to buy the "D" cars. EPA does need to be abolished.

America had pollution problems in the 70s. Unfortunately the EPA began to feed and became self aware. (Kinda like skynet)
If we exterminate the EPA, the states would do their own reasonable regulating and they would do a better job. If they didn’t, business would be done elsewhere.

Not long after he was sworn in Obama signed an executive order mandating that fleet averages must be 35.5 mph for fuel economy standards by 2016. No auto manufacturer can meet this unless just about everyone drives a 4 Cylinder Economy Car. Where's the Constitutional Authority to dictate this? Obama probably has never changed a set of spark plugs in a car. If he can do this by dictate, why not make it 135.5 mpg? This is madness. You cannot dictate technological breakthroughs. This is outrageous and I cannot believe that this didn't get more publicity given how outrageous it was.
Auto Manufacturers are going through enough tough times as it is without the government making it more difficult for them.
