THE MYTH OF CONSERVATIVE VULNERABILITY
Dick Morris .com ^ | Sept 15,2010 | Dick Morris

Yesterday’s primary victories of O’Donnell in Delaware, and DioGuardi in New York illustrates how the Tea Party is cleansing the Republican Party and installing true believers over professional politicians. It is a healthy trend that will continue to recreate the Party of Reagan.

But the conventional media, instead of hailing this trend, warns that conservatives cannot be elected and bemoans the victory of true believers saying that it is equivalent to handing seats to the Democrats and the liberals. This reasoning, which made sense in other times, is badly flawed in today’s political climate.

Just heard Chris Wallace call the Tea Party an “Insurgents”.

Excuse me isn’t that what the military calls the ENEMY in Afganistan.

Not only are conservatives electable in the current political climate, they are very electable, they are likely more electable now than they ever have been. The psychology of the electorate today is akin to the psychology of the brits after Hitler humiliated Chamberlain and proved Churchill right.

The public wants conservatives to save them from the Leftist scourge that has taken over, they may not admit it publically, or even to their own friends and family privately, but they will admit it in the ballot box. What happened last night is glaring proof of that.

also those who started the insurrection against Britain. these were the small farmers and wilderness families who believed that they had the right to their freedom without the interference of crown appointed tax collectors. their first protests were directed at loyalists in their communities. later we would call them patriots.

The polls got it wrong in Alaska, Del., NY, and I believe NH. If, according to the libtards, the polls can't be wrong, then, it must be the voters that are all screwed up by being too stupid to vote correctly because the Tea Party and Palin did something to them.

No one is talking about Hawaii.

The Democratic Senator is really really really old (86)

He’s been working in Washington, DC, first as a US Rep, then as a Senator, since Eisenhower was President.

You don’t think he can be beaten?

I’d take Roco over Cam. The primary is on Saturday.
But this particular primary is looking like it’s going to pass by unnoticed.
