New polling in Ohio has moved that state's U.S. Senate race from Toss-Up to Leans Republican.
Other recent changes came from polling in Alaska, Kentucky, North Carolina and West Virginia, Washington.
Current projections suggest that the Democrats would hold 47 seats after Election Day while the Republicans would hold 46. Seven states are in the Toss-Up category (California, Colorado, Illinois, Nevada, Wisconsin, Washington and West Virginia. All seven Toss-Ups are seats currently held by Democrats
Republicans have the edge in five Democratic-held Senate seats--Arkansas, Indiana, North Dakota, Delaware and Pennsylvania.
At the moment, no Republican-held seats appear headed for the Democratic column.

"GOP has a way of shooting themselves in the foot, and then committing seppuku by choosing Bob Doles and John McCains of this world. And current GOP leadership is much weaker and softer on issues, intellectually and in conservative resolve / commitment, than the one in 1994.
This statement is dead-on! It is EXACTLY why it is better to vote for the best CONSERVATIVES and not just whomever conventional wisdom says will win.
I'm sorry, but after suffering through our last several years of having a worthless, miserable and hopelessly disappointing GOP majority in the Senate - this time I think it would be better to take a few election cycles and stock that place with true believers... we may well pull off winning the senate anyway, but I'd rather have an extremely weakened Dem majority with some good conservatives in there on our side - than a melba toast GOP RINO EMPOWERED majority tripping over themselves to "Work With The Administration on ... " We've seen that horror movie before - that God it looks like enough folks have woke up and are preventing a sequel :-)

I’d bet my last dollar on Coats beating Ellsworth in Indiana.

I love the charts...what is the source of the data? Is the data available for further analysis or up on the web with the resulting charts?

All voters or likely voters. There’s a big difference. Republicans are gonna be more psyched to get out there and vote.

Sorry to rain on your parade (and thats a nice bonnet you are wearing), but the Rs are not going to do as well as most expect. They MAY take the House but will at BEST net 2 seats in the Senate. Care to make a wager? I'd take that bet.

No surprise there, O’Donnell has to overcome. If Castle won and was the deciding vote in the Senate he would have been about as reliable as Specter.

Trust me, Pennsylvania is a done deal. Sestak is mixed up with Bribegate in the worst possible way - he’s simultaneously trying to cover up Obama’s criminal mischief while positioning himself as anti-establishment. The fact that he’s a complete nutcase with a talent for overacting to the point of being a parody of himself doesn’t help either. He looks like he’s about to kill himself when he goes through sob stories for Obamacare/welfare/insert entitlement program.
Toomey’s been up by double digits for as long as I can remember and I don’t see that changing.
