Rove Attack, NRSC Refusal, Will Aid O'Donnell
American Spectator ^ | 9-14-10 | Jeffrey Lord

Posted on 09/15/2010 12:08:33 AM PDT by STARWISE

It was an amazing bit of television. Almost instant(ly) followed by an amazing bit of scoop.

*snip*

The normally rational and analytical Mr. Rove had vanished. In his place was someone who looked like Karl Rove, sounded like Karl Rove…but spoke like the last guy out of the hoped-for-victory-party of the landslide losing candidate for Register of Deeds in NoPlaceville, Texas.

What on earth was Rove thinking? He was bitter, angry, cutting, demeaning, mean-spirited…and those were the nice things he had to say about O'Donnell.

Rove was the genius behind the scenes in the Bush administration, the “compassionate conservatism” that betrayed basic conservative principles, that inferred that conservatism was harsh, cold and uncaring. So they spent, spent, spent to prove their caring to all... All that is, except the taxpayers... And conservatives...

Ya, that Karl Rove...

1. In my opinion, Rove is throwing the doggie (Dems) a bone (in the form of himself) giving them something to chew on.

The libs on Twitter are running with it. They're reporting every negative article, every stinging editorial written by Conservatives about bad Karl Rove.

Rove the Bad serves as a distraction for them and in turn, a positive for us Conservatives.

2. Often it's not the message as much as he who says it first.

Rove is saying what the Dems wanted to say first, thus taking the first strike sting away from them.

And the hard core Dems are falling for it.

3. Conservatives are now lashing out at Rove which serves two purposes:

Rehearses us for the battles ahead, and again,

Takes away the first strike from the Dems.

Eagles up!

This is internecine war.

But so be it.

These RINOS--whom I have NEVER, EVER TRUSTED, can shove it where the sun don't shine.

I have told them as much today by e mail, at NRSC, directly. Time to start the Grand Coalition of a) fed-up, out-of-work Democrats, Libertarian types, Independents, and Moderate Conservative to Conservative Republicans. The RINOS and Liberal Communist Democrats can have their two minor parties, while WE THE PEOPLE move forward and reclaim this Republic.

Sick of it. Just sick of it.

It’s possible. As I said, he’s smart, and
wouldn’t have done it without calculation.

Still and all, it was vicious .. and offensive.

I think the real Karl Rove came out of the closet.

The Republican Party insider, moderate, RINO, Council on Foreign Relations type, centrist. Pick your label.

I learned 35 years ago that everyone called “conservative” by the mainstream media wasn’t in the Nixon-Ford era.

It was they who first dubbed Rove a “conservative.”

One must understand that the media is so far left anyone who doesn’t agree with them becomes a “conservative” by default whether they really are one or not.

“What’s is his goal ? “

To make her look like a true maverick to get Independents to vote for her?

I don’t think you’re a conservative unless you’re regularly called an “extremist” by the MSM.

He was flushed out years ago, by urging Bush to leave our borders open to rapists, murderers, terrorists, welfare leeches, anchor babies, the diseased. All wonderful people who can just meander in and become US citizens, under the great Karl Rove. RINO. RINO to the CORE.

I just gave her $35...she was 86% to her goal of $50,000...I think she will hit $250,000 this week if everyone keeps up the donations. I would love to see it. Screw the GOP too.

He was flushed out years ago.......

Well tonight I think he's not only flushed, but finally being plunged down the bowl never to have a serious impact with conservatives again.

Anything's possible in this election cycle...lol.

Rove was spiteful, contemptuous, and vicious beyond the control of Hannity, and the idea that he said what he said to feed the democrats is too cute by half, even for Rove, but it might produce that surprising result.

STARWISE posted an interesting article titled [A year ago] Karl Rove (allegedly) secretly tried to help Castle win. See what you think?

STARWISE wrote: "It's possible."
The more I think about it, the more I think it is not only possible but it's true. Either Karl Rove was never a good Conservative political strategist or he was and still is a good Conservative strategist.

Look at who we've got in the White House right now. Do you think that Karl Rove has been happy for one nano-second about that?

Do you think Karl Rove would suddenly swing over to the Oprah State of Affairs we have going on now?

STARWISE wrote: "Still and all, it was vicious .. and offensive."

Think of how Sempai (students) constantly spar in the Dojo with their sparring partners while the Sensei watches.

The Dems have never pulled punches in elections and aren't likely to begin now. What better symbolic sparring partner than Karl Rove have we got?

Onyx, come on. You know something about broadcasting. Hannity was in control the entire time. The host always is or he's no longer the host.

Hannity allowed Rove to deliver the immunization and yes, it hurt. Yet Hannity, as always, had the last word and what he said was good enough. Think good cop-bad cop.

Politics has always been a battle ground and never a playground.

Believing otherwise will lead to losing an election.

Our own Al B. is smarter than the American Spectator writer and likely the entire publication.

Amazing that the American Spectator doesn't know about Rove'sorganization that he hopes will compete with the RNC.

Karl Rove Building The Right’s Answer To The Soros-Led Democracy Alliance".

"This new Republican-friendly group, on the other hand, appears to be an umbrella group for five separate right-leaning organizations: American Crossroads (voter mobilization); American Action Network (polling and advertising); American Action Forum (policy); Resurgent Republic (polling); and the Republican State Leadership Committee (an association representing state officers such as secretaries of state)."

This is Rove’s most humiliating moment ever. Unless O’Donnel is indicted for something before Nov., Rove will be in the dustbin of history. The last guy out of the RINO room who has to turn off the lights. And, if she wins, his epitaph was written tonight by Karl himself. What an unlikely risk for him to take. Could he have been drinking?
