True, but at least with Demint’s fund the money that you contribute goes directly to that candidate, not to some committee choice.

If you use their postage paid envelope add about 8 to 10 ounces of reprints of the Constitution or something to add costly weight. Why just be defiant when you can also be passive-aggressive.

Cornyn and the NRSC have come out against ODonnell.
Steele and the RNC have said nothing. He gets the benefit of the doubt until he makes his stand.
The candidates that will win in November are the candidates that convince voters that “They are listening”, “That they work for the people”, and the understand “It is the economy stupid”
Any candidates that try and make it about something other than the economy and other than the fact that Washington is not listening will lose.
NRSC — YOU ARE NOT LISTENING!

The first thing that came to mind to me was an 1812 broadside from Old Ironsides.

That’s more properly, Cornhole, which is what he is doing to conservatives on any number of issues.

No. RNSC is a wholly owned subsidiary of the moneyed interests and lobbyists of the beltway. They only appear to solicit donations from us peons to secure their FEC status. They really don't give a sh*t what we think because their funding is from a whole different population of donors than us.
To: Outlaw Woman
This is going to be a case of the PEOPLE doing the job the NRSC won’t do. It will discredit the RINO establishment forever if we can pull it off.
THE FIELD OF BATTLE HAS BEEN CHOSEN—THIS IS FOR ALL THE MARBLES!!!!
To: bruinbirdman
I heard that and I was stunned. For Rush to acknowledge the possibility of the GOP becoming the “third party” is indeed a noteworthy development. He is ordinarily highly discrete about such enthusiasms.
To: bruinbirdman
You got that right. His statement will send shock waves through the establishment.

HANG THE EXPENSE
(Life is tough. It's tougher when you're stupid.)
To: Outlaw Woman
A lot of these pols thought that they had a lifetime position at the feeding trough, without strife or effort. Land of plenty to plunder.
Lo, now the opulent Titanic sinks, and they have no clue as to what is going on, as they stuff themselves again with steak and lobster and fine wine. Or some prescient ones, maybe set to rush to the too few lifeboats while the steerage class drowns.
Our leadership has blithely run us into an iceberg, voting for every inconceivable impossible and occult heading at once, smiling at their smartness, "We'll see what it will be!"
Perhaps it will be "behead" you creeps.

I really hope that Jim DeMint is installed as chairman of the NRSC next session. Cornyn has been an absolute disaster for the Republican party, throwing money to RINOs who bolt the GOP to run against conservative candidates who have all gone on to be the partys standard bearers.
That battle is actually much more important than any single race. Senate seats come and go, but having effective control over the party apparatus is the important thing.
As long as people stay resolved, and if tonight is any indication there can be no doubt that they will, then Cornyn etc. will lose. And if he loses, then there is a chance of having an effective opposition to Obama and the left.
Tonight was a major turning point in American politics, one which will have long term, positive effects.

Hi newbie. Got anything to back that up with? No? Didn't think so. Welcome to FR anyway. You won't be here long I'm guessing.

"I don't listen to Rush"Eh, eh. I read 120+ replies at The Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Show Thread - Tuesday, September 14, 2010
Evidently, they don't either. Not a single mention of this. Plenty of Krauthammer and Rove suff. It appears that, after two hours of Rush, they morph into a three man Chat Room.
Anyway, Ruch spent two hours talking about Krauthammer and Buckley. We'll see what he has to say about Rove tomorrow.

We can pull it off and we must, because if we don’t...well the result is almost unspeakable.

Can’t find it. I’ve done a search on FB for The Senate Conservative Fund and it’s not coming up. Am I doing something wrong?
