WILMINGTON, Del. – Conservative activist Christine O'Donnell earned a stunning victory in Delaware's Republican Senate primary Tuesday, riding a wave of tea party anger and advertising dollars to oust U.S. Rep. Michael Castle.

O'Donnell's shocking win gave new energy to the tea party movement, which targeted Castle after victories by Republican tea party candidates in the Alaska and Nevada Senate primaries.

With 78 percent of precincts reporting, O'Donnell had 54 percent to 46 percent for Castle, a former two-term governor and the longest serving congressman in Delaware history.

you don't get more establishment that Rove.

Wait he used to be called "Rove you Magnificant Bastard" on this forum. of course that was when everyone believed he was a savior of conservatism. I am just glad he is justifying my long suffered disdain for him.

He gave the dimmies the house and senate with his plan to bring the hispanics into the big tent.

The RinoCratic Oligarchy gets ugly as they get called out on their long-running Good Cop-Bad Cop routine......Any bets the RNC will wind up endorsing a Dem or two somewhere this fall?!!

Screw them. The RINO’s are part of the problem, not the solution.

I sure don’t agree with you. If Brown won in Mass, Christine can win in DE. Also the hell with Castle. Might as well have a dem in there as well as him. It isn’t like the senate will be able to pass good legislation that Bambi won’t veto anyway. You must be an establishment Freeper.

I just watched Rove and was disgusted. Ditto with Hannity’s early guest, Dana Perino - she spouted the same garbage. I'm flabbergasted with what Rove spewed about O'Donnell! Granted, I've not followed this race that closely, but he was getting down and dirty in the nitpicking category and it makes me wonder what makes Rove tick - and I've never questioned his allegiance before.

It was obvious Sean was irritated with Rove's petty remarks about O'Donnell as well. The press has been piling on her like crazy and now Rove just gave the dems their talking points to discredit her even more. Gee, thanks Carl!!! Are you going to make the rounds on the morning shows and repeat your "concerns" about O'Donnell tomorrow, huh?

What exactly is meant by “illegally colluding?”

I'm not certain, but it sounds like the sort of thing that noted conservative John McCain drafted into legislation. It also sounds like the kind of law that is only applied to a conservative Republican. No Democrat will ever be charged with violating that law.

And now Karl Rove is on the Hannity show telling why she can’t win... you don’t get more establishment that Rove.

****************

Many conservatives are learning the same thing about the GOP as PUMAs learned about the Democratic party.

Both machines are the two sides of the same counterfeit coin.

Castle does not vote with Republicans when it counts. He lost because the people spoke. Maybe if he had a D behind his name, we would not have had
this fight.

Ah, the heady aroma of an Establishment flop-sweat. We’ve still 49 days of Meghan McCain being lauded as the true voice of the Republican party by the media drones on The View, but it won’t make any difference. The pebbles they’ve been laughing at are turning into boulders, and the avalanche that’s coming can’t be stopped now. Come on, November!

It's not like I wouldn't vote for her if I lived in Delaware, it's just that she is a fatally flawed candidate with too many skeletons/baggage to win in a deep blue state. Brown was a fantastic candidate, O'Donnell is not.

As I've said a million times, I am for nominating the most conservative candidate who can actually win. Christine O'Donnell has little to no chance to win.

A RINO in the ranks voting with the Democrats is worse than a Democrat. A RINO voting with the Democrats breaks our ranks and encourages others to do the same. A RINO voting with the Democrats lets them pretend that they have bipartisan support.

It was solid Republican opposition to Porkulus and the Health Care debacle that made it clear to the American People that they were boondoggles. That could never happen again with Mike Castle in the Senate.

Hang on boys, its gonna be a bumpy ride. With the GOP and the Democrats BOTH attacking her, we are going to have to step up to the plate with time, money, and all the good press we can get for her. You can bet they aren’t going to give her any money or help.

The GOP has officially declared themselves to be assclowns!
