Tea party-backed Christine O'Donnell wins GOP nod for Senate race in Delaware
This is the same group that said Rubio couldn’t win, that Scott Brown couldn’t win; that Toomey couldn’t win, blah...blah...balh.
If Castle would ahve beaten his Democrat opponent he would have beaten O’Donnell.
If the people who think they have just given Delaware to the Democrats stay home, that is what they have done.If that’s what they want the hell with them.
Even if she loses, the 40 years of Castle tyranny is GONE.
“Thus ended hopes for the Senate.”
That’s okay. Gridlock is better than RINOs running the country.
Great now Murkowski has some company with her incessant bitching and whining.
This will be a nail biter, we need to get the TeaParty Express and Palin and DeMint fan clubs getting some money in this race for November.
Wow...The TeaParty and conservatives are kicking ass...Yes.
So what? even if it happens, communism-lite is not worth supporting.
Stop the defeatism. I believe defeatism is the last gasp of the soon to be extinct species: RINO. It may a couple elections to get rid of them all. Get to work. Talk to people. Get out the vote. Vote! Vote! Stop the squirming and defeatism.
It is NOT a true victory until and unless she gets elected in the general election. I pray she’s got the votes.
The first thing she should do is tell John Cornyn and his NRSC to sod off.
You know, even if you’re right, I tell you what else we did. We handed abject fear to establishment Republicans.

Well said!!!
Huffington Post is saying that the O’Donnell win is good for the Democrats.
Exactly. Like many people have said on here, I worry about what the GOP will do if it regains power—if it pulls the same stunts that got us in this mess, we are in deep deep trouble.
We need a strong opposition party.
Not so sure, the people who have been saying she can't win in the general either aren't our friends (Democrats) or are establishment GOP.
I think Castle would have had a harder time winning in the end. I could be wrong but it reminds me of the big push to nominate McCain in 2008. Same arguments and same loser candidate.
If you believe the polls. But at least the Republican wing of the Ruling Class got its cage rattled.
Let's just hope Christine plays it right. She could still win in November.
Hallellujah!
Now fire the head of the Republican Party Apparat in Delaware! And the horse he rode in on!
