Bill [Buckley] said to vote for the “most conservative candidate that had the best chance to Win in the General”.

Great advice, but I’m not sure if Castle qualified as a conservative.

That's the rub here. I had the short course on Castle in the last few days. Supports cap and trade? Threatened impeachment of Bush? It's intolerable.

I understand the "weak can be made to follow" argument, but it seems Castle is so far off the reservation he's gone enemy camp.

Will O'Donnell be reliable?

“Maybe we just take the whole Party down in a few years or start another Party.”

Based on recent results, I believe we already started one.

Tom Pauken ran against Cornyn in the 1998 primary for attorney general and warned about him, but Republicans were too uninformed to listen. I don’t think they will be informed by 2014. Who will tell them?

DE is 20% black. They still vote in lockstep for Dems.

You may be right. Those in this 20% crowd my be reluctant to turn out for a person named Coons. Should BO continue to leglislate the economy down the toilet those fuzzy independents just might have second thought.

A pathetic display of self-importance and out-of-control ego.

Rove is a part of the GOP machine; and he sees income from consulting or other position of importance within the GOP machine if they can sweep into power. It all boils down to money and power to the party boyz. He is disturbed that we are not taking their "trust me, I know what I am talking about" advice as gospel anymore.

O'Donnell has an uphill battle ahead; going against the east coast tendency to vote for the liberals as well as having her own party's "insiders" undermining her chances. She is going to need money, and even in my current paycheck-to-paycheck financial condition, I am going to tighten my belt just a little more so I can send her a generous donation.

Please go kick some liberal ass, Christine; dem and RINO alike.

We are taking this party back from the RINO slugs. It will be a glorious day when the conservatives once again rule the party.

.
Not any kind of majority that we would’ve wanted.

Christine is our real ticket to a real majority.

I don’t know why you can’t see that the worm has turned, but it has and it looks more like an Anaconda.

I worry too but we have to remind ourselves of one thing...that New Jersey and Mass would never ever give Pub the Governorship and a Senate seat respectively...

granted, Brown and Christie might be better campaign candidates, but Christine might just be able to put it all together...

she has to run on the rats record....the deficets, the immigration...the taxes..the greed and criminality.....NASA....

don't change parties unless you can vote for whomever in the primaries....

just don't donate to them...only to the candidates...

It’s what the old toe sucker, Dick Morris says. Actually, he claims that we’ll win more than ten, but I’m being on the cautious side.

And for all of the nay-sayers...........Christine just might pull this one off, come November !

Sorry to say it, but we just handed Delaware to the Dems.

I'd rather have a real Dem in there than a Dem pretending to be a Republican who voted to investigate Bush.

Fine. People were wrong about Scott Brown’s chances (although he’s turned out to be pretty crappy in the Senate)...so maybe they’ll be wrong again.

I guess we’ll find out.

So when Palin endorses an establishment RINO, she stinks and when she endorses a CONSERVATIVE noob, she stinks.....according to you; right ?

It’s a great night, Victoria. Chris MAtthews was even acknowledging that she could very well win and warning Rachel Madcow and Overbite and the truly execrable Lawrence O’Donnell, who were pretending to gloat, that they had best not underestimate her.

I agree, sooner or later we have to purge the RINOs. There’s never gonna be a good time to do it so no point in waiting. As long as there is a payday they won’t leave on their own. A certain RINO in Arizona comes to mind....

“Sarah Palin has with this victory, taken the helm of the GOP away from the elitist sewage that has run the party into the ground (deliberately IMO).”

Barry Morris Goldwater, from his grave, is applauding and saying, “There is a God, there is a God!”
