Given the outcome in New Jersey, anything’s possible.

Can you please explain to me what the difference is between Castle and Coons? The Democrats already have Delaware. We (conservatives) aren't handing them Jack sh*t. Instead, we are making a firm decision that we will no longer offer our sanction.
I will not vote for someone simply because they have an R beside their name. People like Castle, Specter, Voinovich, etc. give Republicans a bad name. This country is begging for leadership. Mike Castle is no leader.

Tonight was the night that Rove, Krauthammer, etc became RINOS according t most Freepers. LOL, politics truly is a joke.
No, they are not RINOs. They are just showing that they really have little or no comprehension of what is actually happening politically. Another great aspect to this election season is that it is separating the truly insightful political people (the Palins, the DeMints, etc.) from those that merely get by because people know who they are.
Politics isn't a joke. It is just that some of the analysis is.

A very determined minority which is only a few votes away from a majority is vastly more desirable than a wishy-washy majority in which every important vote allows one or two RINOs to conveniently shoot down your legislation.
Exactly. But there is even another dimension. In the next two months the Media will have to acknowledge the conservative message in this case. Pray that Christine O'Donnell can articulate that message.
And even given she loses pray that those who do get in can articulate the message. The conservative message - freedom and human dignity is the great privilege of the individual assuming responsibility for his own decisions, not the government's.

My answer: Senate Majority Leader McConnell or Senate Majority Reid.

I know I’m not going to be popular here tonight, but you make a good point. I just don’t know how this will play out. We didn’t vote all these Rinos in overnight or in one election and we cannot expect to change the composition overnight or with one election.

"I agree, bad candidate for the general election, she is going to be hammered and lose..all in the name of some misguided purity game. Thanks for nothing Sarah Palin."
Are you completely ignorant of the political dynamics at play?
This victory is ENORMOUS.
It tell the entrenched GOP establishment that some candidates are acceptable, and some are not. Castle CLEARLY was not fit to run under the GOP banner.
There's not a REAL conservative in America that laments this loss. It's a huge victory for the cause at an "acceptable loss", assuming she losses the general.
I think she'll win it.

“Yeah, Rove has usually been pretty good since hes been on FOX but his establishment colors came out tonight.”
True. If she loses, we can hang that on his f**k**g head. What a dork!
To: Godebert
Castle might as well be a Dem anyway. Castle got a big fat F from the NRA. Good riddance to the leftist piece of crap.
And he voted to commence investigation in Bush's impeachment.

That is exactly the term that came to my mind, too. POS.
Yep, and I don't use that term lightly. Actually, I've only used it once before in 3 1/4 years. Used it once to describe Obama.
But Rove is unhappy and mad tonight, and he probably wants O'Donnel to lose so he can say I told you so.

“Sorry to say it, but we just handed Delaware to the Dems.”
Well if Castle wasn’t a conservative, then what is really the difference? There are some folks in congress with an (R) behind their name that is a lie.

Has Castle announced his third-party candidacy yet? It’s the party started by Charlie Crist.

To: muleskinner
The best I've seen is maybe 8, but that was last week. In Calif., Boxer-Fiorina are only a point or two apart.
IMHO I do not think the pollsters are able to adequately judge what is coming their way on Nov 2!!

So the Republicans get the majority by 1, Castle votes with the Dems Brown and Snowe and Oblahblah convinces the morons that inhabit this country that Senate Majority Leader McConnell is to blame for EVERYTHING! Yeah that would be sooo much better.
