Q. How can you tell if a Chase representative is lying?

A. their lips move.

Chase cannot be trusted under any conditions. If you can, I strongly recommend you transfer your business to a local bank and never look back.

I set up an account for my daughter with a local bank. Within two months of setting up the account, they were shut down. Turns out they had a guy writing loans who also sat on the loan approval committee. He was paid on a commission style basis and was raking in big bucks. Ran the bank into the ground.

Yeah, those local banks are so much better. Crooks are crooks, no matter where you live.

Noticed on their home page today that they no longer have FDIC coverage.
