Well, apparently not very well, Ms. Perino, since he just had his ass handed to him on a platter.
And I won't hold my breath for the RINOs to admonish "you MUST vote for who won the primary, even if you have to hold your nose!" like they soooo love to tell conservatives.
Great point...let the moderate/RINO voters hold THEIR noses for once...
As much as I love Christine and hope she wins in November, we need to be realistic. She won in DE because the libs who support Castle stayed home just like the Dems on a day with 32% GOP turnout. The fact is that Castle does represent DE republicans better than Christine does, and she only won because of turnout (and I am proud of the fact that I contributed to improving the overall turnout for her).
In November, she will again face a liberal state in which most voters are to her left or her far left. We will again have to get out the vote energetically, and this time we will be facing a far better organized opposition effort, with many of the living and the dead opposing Christine O'Donnell. A loss is not guaranteed, but neither is a win. We will have to donate (I already gave the maximum legal amount). We will have to give our time (I did so today and throughout the past six months, even before I thought she had much of a chance). It's only the easy part that is behind us, so this is no time to rest on our laurels or get overconfident.
