Most reports have a light voter turnout through the lunch hours. CNN and other major news organizations are reporting live across the state of 885,000 residents, where GOP-establishment candidate Rep. Michael Castle faces a come-from-behind challenge from "tea party"-candidate Christine O'Donnell, a conservative activist.

A GOP controlled Senate with the likes of Mike Castle holding the balance of power would be terrible.
Only people who care will vote. Bad news for RINOS.
I wasn’t real sure about this one for a while but Castle has got to go even if the GOP loses
I tend to agree. Only the hardcore are turning out.
That’s a negative for the RINO.
Rush just finished tearing Castle’s ass up.
It’s light because this is a closed primary and the voters have real jobs! Wait until after 5:00pm...
Crossing fingers you are right. Motivated folks will be out.
Not good. Insurgents tend to benefit from high voter turnout. The Machine can always get its people to the polls. If the turnout is light it is also easier to throw the results with a few “Found” ballots. If it is low turnout we are looking at Castle.
Please remember that if, on Nov 2, O'Donnell loses the general and the Senate is 50-50 with Biden breaking the tie and the dems still owning chairmanships.
Just a thought.
That's what I'm thinking too.. the conservative types tend to be employed and will vote after work. If it's still light around 7:30 p.m., then that's cause for worry.
Exactly. jim Jeffords redux.
It doesnt matter. If the GOP picks up 8 votes, they can flip nelson, Bayh, and others anyway.
Wait until after 5:00pm...
By then the Castle folks will know how many votes they have to gin up to beat Christine.
Do we have any Delaware Freepers out there? What does it feel like?
Bayh isn’t running which is why we will pick up Indiana. If we get to 50/50, we will likely be able to get Lieberman to caucus with us if we give him a ton of perks.
Death to RINOS.
Figuratively, literally, quantitatively, and substantially.
I’m only interested in lowering our CO2 output.

Which Nelson?
Not true, in my experience. Light turnouts in this cycle are bad news for establishment candidates. Rand Paul cleaned up here in KY under the same circumstances. KY is a more conservative state, but 1/2 of the state, my half, is run by a ruthless Republican Party machine that did all they could for Trey Grayson. This part of the state has lived for pork barrel politics in the past, but that has changed. Mitch McConnell has a problem in the future, if he doesn’t tack harder to the right. Rand Paul beat his machine and the Washington establishment, too.
Frankly, we don’t care-just a thought.
