LEAVENWORTH, Wash. (AP) - A Washington state bear specialist says his agency is still trying to find homes for two bear cubs orphaned last week when a Leavenworth-area man shot and killed their mother.
Rich Beausoleil of the state Department of Fish and Wildlife said two rehab facilities in Washington state are full. He said Monday his agency has put out feelers to place the cubs in facilities in other states, but hasn't yet heard back.
I have a spare room.
Me too. I’ll take one.
A friend has two small granddaughters. Are the bears large enough to make small jackets from their pelts?
My freezers available; the young ones are tender, and better tasting.
There are plenty of bears in the State of Washington. Do to them what the SPCA does with animals they can’t adopt out.
Bearskin rug, anyone?
