TV’s Andy Levy thinks 0bama will get a second term. And I think he’s pretty smart guy.

Here is my take: If the GOP does what it always does and gives it to the "next" in line. In this case, Mitt Romney. We lose and Obama gets a second term. If McCain runs and gets it, again, we lose. We need to run to the most extreme right possible. A God, Guns and Guts candidate. Then we win.

I think that it depends on who the R's run against him. Many FReepers will disagree with me, but IMHO, Palin, for instance, is unelectable. The media has succeeded in marginalizing her completely (for now, at least). Ditto Romney. McCain or Huckabee? Wouldn't surprise me if either tossed his hat in the ring again for a 2nd try. And any of them would be a tossup vs BO, I think.

With Republicans ascendant in Congress, I'm curious as to how effective BO will be from 2010 to 2012. I think that the Dems might be the most likely thing to stop him from serving a second term. I still say "Watch Hillary", particularly if she can distance herself from the upcoming Novemember debacle. I'm actually surprised that she's not tendered her resignation yet.
