My point is don’t use NY-23 as an example of “Conservatism wins every time it’s tried.” The Tea Party elected a rat in NY-23.

MY point is that you can't trust a RINO, as glaringly obvious when the RINO endorsed the RAT in the race.

Couldn’t disagree more with you. There is no difference between Castle and a rat.

The histronics are too much. Hoffman came from third place to almost win. A nobody, backed by a bunch of nobodies, toppled Scuzzy and Dim. In true Rino fashion - Scuzzy threw her support behind the Dim rather than the conservative so save all your bellyaching about how the “Tea Party” gave us a Dim. The Repubelican party elites gave NY23 a dim, because they’d rather have a dim than a conservative.

Exactly - Non-conservatives and Rinos are the enemy. I find an enemy within the movement far more damaging than one outside because they can do more damage.

Be safe in India!

Who were the two RINOs who helped end the filibuster on the new jobs bill?

What good does it do to vote for a Republican that is going to vote the dem line. Rush’s whole point today is reinforced by the Scuzzy situation. It is better a dem hold a seat if the votes from that seat are going to be for the dem agenda.

What good does speaker Boehner do if Rep Castle is voting against him on every vote?

Sorry I should have said Majority Leader Reid or McConnell...The majority sets the agenda. I prefer a RINO over a rat when those are the only choices. I hope O’Donnell wins but I believe she will not.

Blame the voters of NY for picking their Representative. There are not enough conservatives in NY-23 to elect a Hoffman. He got every conservative vote and lost. The majority of voters in NY-23 are RINOs. The former congressman from NY-23 was a RINO. That is why Scuzzy would have kept the seat out of Pelosi’s hands, but when faced with the choice of a rat and Hoffman 5,000 NY voters walked to the polls and pulled the lever for neither(Scuzzy). Hoffman was a gift to the rats.

In 09 The NY-GOP picked a candidate that could win the seat. There wasn't time for a primary , but if there had been Hoffman would NOT be the candidate as proved tonight.Doheny Win Sets Up Three-Way Race in N.Y. 23 That's right. The GOP primary voters in NY-23 have chosen a man who endorsed Scozzafava as “terrific” in July of 09 he pledged to do “everything I can for her and more.” Then he gave $2,400 to Scozzafava’s campaign(the maximum allowed by law).

Last year, the local GOP picked in Scuzzy a RINO to replace a RINO, instead of a rotten speaking carpetbagger whose ideology was at odds with the district, but more in tune with Rush and Freepers. The Club for Growth, Beck, Rush, Hannety, Republicans like Sarah Palin, Dick Army, and Steve Forbes supported Hoffman.

With widespread anger at Obama and the rat congress that swept in RINOs in NJ, and MA...Conservative Hoffman got every conservative vote, and he lost. The right loser at the right time to elect a rat to a rare GOP congressional seat in NY. One of only 3 at the time.

Conservatives should consider a strategy that expends less energy going after RINOs in favor of going after democrats ( the guys in power ), but they wont. Conservatives will blame the GOP leadership for an unelectable conservative failing to win in a liberal state.

Hoffman almost didn't give Pelosi another vote. That is what passes for a Tea Party victory according to Rush.

This guy isn’t a Rino, he is a DEMOCRAT. Good riddance. We must send the loudest message that we want conservatives representing us. The rotten apple in the barrel spoils the WHOLE barrel.
