What good is your 51st Senator if he pulls a Jefford and sells his seat to his ideological soul mates, the Democrats, in Jan 2011? I didn't say that Castle was perfect, but given a choice of a certain Dem or a potential Dem, I'd prefer to see Castle elected in DE, in the event that he wins today's primary. Defection is not a sure thing, especially not after it didn't work out in neighboring PA so recently. A Dem win is a sure thing, and a bad one. I'll take the risk over the certainty.
