Well it may not endear him to any of the top powers-that-be, but New Hampshire congressional candidate Bob Giuda says he'd be willing to look at eliminating America's central bank under certain circumstances.

If I lived in New Hampshire I would vote for this guy. He is far more conservative than libertarian and supports auditing and maybe abolishing the FED.

Throw in abolishing the IRS and I’d move to NH to vote!

Flat tax! Flat tax! Flat tax! Flat tax!

Get rid of the Fed and the IRS and there wouldn’t be any need for an income tax, flat or otherwise.

I have met Mr. Giuda on several occasions. He is a neighbor within shouting distance of my daughter.
While I agree that his policy ideas are good and are really what is most important in the final analysis, he is a dipstick of the first order. He has no chance of winning and he’ll probably take enough votes away from Jennifer Horn in tomorrow’s primary to give us RINO Charlie Bass (again) to contend in the general election in November. Mr. Giuda should have stuck to flying airplanes.

The guy actually did use the term ‘commodity-based currency’. There may actually be some hope for us....

Jennifer Horn appears to be the best candidate watching the the Sept 8 debate on CSPAN.

If he keeps pushing this idea, take a life insurance policy out on him.

I notice one of your heroes is Dr. Ron Paul. Is that the way you feel still or does your profile maybe need a little updating?

After tomorrow you probably won’t hear of him again.

I’d love to get rid of the Fed but I have no idea how to get it done. Certainly one man won’t be able to do it.

This latest video from Bill Still, maker of "The Moneymasters," describes the evil of the Federal Reserve and lays out a practical alternative:

Unlike "The Moneymasters," this video is freely distributed, but they do ask for voluntary contributions.

Abolishing the Federal reserve will be a real problem.

Right now they are unusually strained, and being undermined. So we are perhaps in an unusually strong position to do something about this evil.

I think a more direct approach would be required to further undermined the Federal Reserves powers. Starting with debasing their market value at home via defensive measures.

I too would very much like to return to a free banking era. I think with todays technology which allows for instant transactions we could implement a free competitive banking system quite effectively.
