President Obama heads to Philadelphia on Tuesday for his second "Back to School" speech, but unlike last year, this year's speech is garnering little to no national attention, instead living on the back pages of newspapers or failing to get any mentions in most media circles or leading opposition groups.

My kids school will be listening to this. The parents can opt out and the kids can sit in the library during the address. We're from a predominately red district. There gonna need more chairs in the library than in the auditorium (LOL). It's not like he has a country to run or anything. Whats he gonna talk about? His golf swing or "What I did on my summer vacation". Comments? Bueller? Bueller? ...

More and more this country is waking up to the emptiness that is this man. The Con is becomming apparent even to those who don’t pay attention.

I sent an email to the school principal before the flyer even hit my kid's folder.

"My children are not, under any circumstances, allowed to be a part of this."

Given that I yanked my kids out once already to homeschool them, (a chronic medical condition is sucking all my energy, so they went back in until I get this under control), the response was immediate:

"Thank you for letting me know. Your children will not be participating."

No arguments. No questions asked. No problem.

I like the Principal, Vice Principal, and teachers at my children's school. They are good folks. The district is usually fair; but the rules handed down through the NTA and the FedGov are something out of a comedy/horror movie.

He and his cronies have had complete control of what passes of the educational system in America for over 40 years. They have produced nothing but failure over and over in their attempts to “lead us into communism and deliver us from capitalism” for Marx’s name sake. We have generations of people dependent on welfare who cannot read or do simple math. This failure to understand simple math reflects itself in Obama’s own cabinet when they cannot bring themselves to give unto others what is their own in the first place but take by the force of the IRS.
