I was in Kyiv then. had to run away for several months in 1986.

I went to Belarus in 1998 to meet people and see the sights...I was treated to a welcome beyond what I deserved.

This whole banya thing...we could have just played cards and drank vodka...there was no reason to be running into the lake in that condition.
