Standing three blocks from the World Trade Center site on the eve of Sept. 11, Rep. Keith Ellison looked out over more than 1,500 people wearing white and holding candles in support of a proposed Islamic center and mosque near Ground Zero.
"The whole world is watching you," the Minnesota Democrat told the mosque supporters. "You emphatically say we are together, and we can't be torn apart based on religion."

I LOVE IT!!!!
CHECKMATE!!!!!
BUH-BYE..IMAM!
Now I really am glad that Pastor Jones riled the whole thing up this last week!
"Ye who enter, abandon all hope..."
It makes me teary eyed for thought of the good ol' days....
What's with this "side with" stuff?
Give credit where credit is due for crying out loud!
I would also like to speak out in support of the Grand Jury that would indict him on said treason charges and bring this criminal to justice.
Don't hold me responsible for the accuracy of this, but I do believe that, even though Jesse won the Minnesota governorship, he lost to "The Crusher" (the man who made Milwaukee famous), Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, "Handsome" Harley Race, and "Mad Dog" Vachone when the stakes were REALLY high.
Let’s also not forget that Jesse “the body” Ventura was a
paid bad guy. In that role, one had to lose to the opposition
often. He played it well.
He was also more fiscally conservative than over half the
Republicans now holding office.
p.s. no defense for Franken the failed comedian.
