OAKLAND, Calif. -- Candidate for California governor Jerry Brown apologized Monday for taking a swipe at fellow Democrat and former President Bill Clinton over his relationship with Monica Lewinsky.
The move came a day after Brown said his Republican rival Meg Whitman had used Clinton footage from the 1992 Democratic presidential primary to lie about Brown in a current campaign attack ad.
In response to the ad, Brown took a jab at Clinton.

So is Brown saying that Whitman lied about him or that Clinton lied about him?

Hogue replayed that famous Clinton clip denying he had “sex with that woman” over and over inter spliced with Jerry Brown bashing Clinton.

So...Whitman used clinton footage to lie? Bill said it...but Whitmans the liar?
If you knowingly repeat something that you know to be a lie, doesn't that make you a liar, too?
If so, then the question becomes, did she know Clinton was lying when she used the footage in her campaign ad?
Brown is probably so senile he doesn’t actually know who said it or whether it is still 1992.
Amazingly Clinton is not lying in the ad. He is ripping Moonbeam to shreds because in 1978 Governor Brown worked hard to defeat Proposition 13 when it was on the ballot. Governor Brown basically said that if Prop. 13 passed all the children would starve to death and life as we know it would cease to exist in California. The day after Prop. 13 passed by a landslide Brown said that Prop. 13 was great and that he was for it all along.
To me the big story is that Clinton apparently is not objecting to the use of his image in the ad. Clinton hates Jerry Brown’s guts.
So when’s he going to apologize to California for the first eight years?
More lies about this Clinton Lewinsky scandal and mystery that led to impeachment and Slick Willie’s legendary ascension to Uber Creep. It is time for the truth from Clinton. We the American public have a right to know the truth and facts about the blue dress stain. I mean, really, how did it get there, on the back of the dress. I mean, did she whip around really fast, or was it one of those over the shoulder flings or what? The dress could have been worn or not worn, or in any position - so what was really going on, and with the cigars and all? Really!!? Enquiring minds deserve to know the truth.
This is not a national security issue.
I mean... it is a matter of record... Federal record as a matter of fact.

It could have been worse: at least with Lewinsky the sexual relations were consensual.
This is not a matter of tact...in the case of Brown, it is a matter of one lacking cajones.....
